The case was resolved by the district court over a period of time by the entry of multiple summary [241 Kan. 649] judgments. Each party has appealed from the summary judgment or summary judgments adverse to him or it. The Court of Appeals affirmed the district court in part, reversed in part, and remanded the case for further proceedings in an unpublished opinion filed February 12, 1987. All parties filed petitions for review which were granted by this court.
